Requirements for ads

Standard ad in OÜ Traff contains:

  • Picture-the logo of 256*256 pixels;
  • The title no longer than 25 characters;
  • Advertisement no longer than 70 characters;
  • The domain name is determined automatically from the specified URL;
  • Image. Minimum resolution — 1080х607; the maximum size of each file not exceeding 4 MB; formats: jpeg, jpg, png, gif.
  • Advertisement. The ad text should match the theme of the advertised site and to describe the essence of the advertising offer.

In-text ads you can use:

  • Special characters: punctuation (. , ! ? :- ) and some of the signs of typography (& %).
  • Exclamation and question marks can be used once: in the title or in the text (that is, each sign can only be used once in a Declaration).

Not allowed:

  • the use of the discharge (writing words with spaces between l e t t e r and m) and capital letters of the text, with the exception of the usual abbreviations;
  • the repetition of punctuation and typography marks are allowed;
  • the contact data (phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, ICQ numbers and other services of instant messaging);
  • the use of HTML code;
  • the ad title should not end with a period;
  • the ad text should not contain jargon, slang, expressions, abusive, obscene content, violating the legislation of the Republic of Estonia, or intended for adults only.

The picture in the ad

  • should be of high quality, should not contain distortion caused by compression. The text should not occupy more than 20% of the image and should be readable;
  • match the title/text ads, content page, which is showing the ad.

The image must not contain:

  • Contact data (phone numbers, e-mail, postal addresses, ICQ numbers and other services of instant messaging);
  • The actual text of the advertising offer other than slogans and other similar phrases; the text that contains spelling, punctuation and other errors.

URL in the ad

  • The URL must conform to the Declaration and to work steadily.
  • Use IP addresses instead of the domain name is not allowed.

Banned for advertising in Traff OÜ

The ads should not be material contrary to applicable laws and is prohibited.
These materials include:
  • Alcohol
  • Tobacco products
    The ads should not promote tobacco products, which include: cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos (charity), cigarettes, tobacco for hookah, tobacco Smoking concretely, tobacco, pipe, bidis, kretek, tobacco, sucking (snus), chewing tobacco, snuff tobacco, nasvay, etc.
    Also the ads should not promote Smoking accessories (Smoking pipes, hookahs, and a place for Smoking, cigarette paper, electronic vaporizers, etc.). Advertising blogs and user groups interested in tobacco, is allowed if advertised in the blogs and user groups is not conducted the sale of tobacco and related products.
    Permitted advertising campaign against Smoking, advertising of books, psychological help in the fight against tobacco addiction, programmes and institutions for rehabilitation of smokers.
    Acceptable: If you are a true cigar lover, we are waiting for you in our group! Unacceptable: Everyone join the group discounts on electronic cigarettes!
  • Weapons
    It is forbidden to place ads that promote weapons, including guns for hunting, guns, sporting and signal weapons, ammunition, fireworks, explosives, knives and guns for self-defense.
    In the ads it is not allowed to place links to pages with information about where and how to buy this product.
    Allowed to post pictures of weapons, if the weapon depicted in the picture are not sent directly to the user.
    Advertising blogs and user groups interested in this products, is allowed if advertised in the blogs and user groups is not conducted the sale of weapons or explosives
    Acceptable: We are waiting for You at the opening of the exhibition of antique weapons. Unacceptable: You can purchase weapons for self-defense at an affordable price.
  • Gambling
    Prohibited advertising of casino, betting, any gambling and betting.
  • Medication prescription
  • Abortion
  • Narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and means of their use
  • Illegal software, books, music or movies
  • Predictions, astrological predictions, witchcraft, healing, etc.
  • Selling services via SMS
  • Provocative or offensive material for personal, political or religious content
  • Equipment for tracking
    The ads should not be proposals for the sale of equipment for monitoring, including devices for tracking mobile phone.
    Allowed ads promoting the services of a private investigation.
  • Counterfeit goods
    The ad text should not be approvals of the sale of counterfeit products.
  • Fake documents
    In the texts of the ads should not be approvals of selling fake documents, including diplomas.
  • Pornography
    Ads should be no images of nudity and pornographic material.

Allowed with limitations

Advertising of goods and services listed in this section are allowed, but with restrictions established by the legislation of the Republic of Estonia. For specified goods and services, we may require electronic copies of the documents confirming compliance of the constitutional law "On advertising".
  • Online shopping
    On the advertiser's website in the section "Contacts" explicitly should be specified information about the seller of the goods: name, location and state registration number of record about creation of the legal person; a surname, a name, a patronymic, the basic state registration number of record about the state registration of the physical person as the individual businessman.
  • Pharmaceuticals, medical products
    Before placing advertising to support those Traff OÜ are required to provide electronic copies of instructions for medical use; certificate of conformity; Declaration of conformity.
    Ads must not contain offers to sell drugs, the prescription of the doctor.
    Advertising of medicines, medical devices must not:
    • access to minors;
    • contain references to specific cases cure diseases, improve the health status of a person as a result of application of object of advertising;
    • contain the expression of gratitude to individuals in connection with use of object of advertising;
    • create a presentation about the benefits of object of advertising by reference to the fact that the studies required for state registration of object of advertising;
    • contain statements or assumptions of presence at consumers of advertising of those or other diseases or health disorders;
    • contribute to the creation of a healthy person of impression about necessity of application of object of advertising (except for medicines used for the prevention of diseases);
    • to create the impression of unnecessary treatment to the doctor;
    • ensure that the positive effect of the object of advertising, its safety, effectiveness and lack of side effects;
    • to represent the object of advertising as a biologically active additives and food supplements or other non-drug goods;
    • contain statements that the safety and (or) efficacy of the object of advertising is guaranteed by its natural origin.
    Advertising of medicines in forms and dosages, prescription medicines and medical devices, the use of which requires special training, is prohibited.
  • Medical operations (med. companies)
    Before placing advertising to support those Traff OÜ must provide an electronic copy of a license to conduct medical activities and application thereto;
    The advertising of medical activities shall not:
    • contain references to specific cases cure diseases, improve the health status of a person as a result of application of object of advertising;
    • contain the expression of gratitude to individuals in connection with use of object of advertising;
    • create a presentation about the benefits of object of advertising by reference to the fact that the studies required for state registration of object of advertising;
    • contain statements or assumptions of presence at consumers of advertising of those or other diseases or disorders.
    • Biologically active additives, food additives, baby foods
    Before placing advertising to support those Traff OÜ are required to provide electronic copies of certification of conformity; the certificate of registration.
  • Advertising of biologically active supplements, dietary supplements, baby foods
    Advertising of biologically active supplements, dietary supplements, baby foods must not:
    • to create the impression that they are drug and (or) possess medical properties;
    • contain references to specific instances of healing people, improving their condition as a result of these additives;
    • contain the expression of gratitude to individuals in connection with the use of such additives; to encourage the abandonment of a healthy diet;
    • to create an impression of advantages of such supplements by referring to the fact that the studies required for state registration of such additives, and to use the results of other studies in the form of direct recommendations for the use of such additives.
    • Advertising of baby foods should not represent them as full substitutes for breast milk and contain a statement about the benefits of artificial feeding of children.
    • Advertising of products intended for use as substitutes of female milk, and the products included in the diet of the child during its first year of life, should contain data on age restrictions of application of such products and a warning about the need for specialist advice.
  • Health/fitness
    Ads should be addressed to persons under 18 years of age.
    Image: Ads should not contain the image of the "before" and "after" images with unreal results.

Ad text

Ad text must contain neutral or positively colored vocabulary, to give a realistic description of the state of health, not focusing on perceived imperfections.
Acceptable: With us You safely, comfortably and effectively reduce the weight! Effective means for strengthening and hair growth.
Unacceptable: You have started losing hair and You are afraid to become bald as a bowling ball? Minus 20kg in 20 days!!! Hang side? (the above example is not valid because it promotes rapid weight loss hazardous to health, and suggests that the user just need to lose weight.)

Dating

  • Ads must not contain provocative images, sexually suggestive images of naked or unnecessarily exposed parts of the body.
  • Image data cannot show, as they focuses on the exposed areas of the body, there is a sexual innuendo.
  • Ads must not contain profanity, abusive language and offensive messages.
  • Text and images in the ad must relate to the advertised product or company.
  • Ads should not invite the visitor to meet or contact some other user.
  • Ads must not contain information that the website visitor was looking for, looking for or perhaps will be looking for that he sent a message to this or that person, or that had contact with him in other ways.
  • Not allowed ads about Dating for sex and erotic entertainments or advertise casual or extramarital Affairs.
    Acceptable: Looking for a husband? Dating for serious relations and marriage We will help You find love Unacceptable: You have 1 new message Tired of loneliness? (the last Declaration may cause negative emotions of the visitor).

Financial services

  • Banking, insurance and other financial services
    Advertising must contain the name or the name of the person who delivers these services (for a legal entity - name, for an individual entrepreneur - surname, name, patronymic).
    Advertising banking, insurance and other financial services should not:
    • contain guarantees or promises of future effectiveness (profitability of investment), including based on real indicators in the past, if the performance (return on investment) cannot be determined at the time of conclusion of the Treaty;
    • not mention the other conditions of the provision of the relevant services that affect the amount of income that receive utilized the services of a person or the amount of expenditure incurred using the services of a person, if the advertisement contains at least one of these conditions.
  • Loans
    If the advertisement contains at least one condition influencing its cost, such advertising should contain all other conditions defining actual cost of the loan for the borrower and influencing it.
  • Applications for credit cards
    Allowed to advertise applications for credit cards if the home page provided complete and accurate information about the conditions of the loan and the interest rate, transaction fees, additional payments etc. Acceptable: CityBank You can get a credit card with an annual interest rate of only 5%. Unacceptable: Free selection of a loan. Fill out an application!
  • Loans secured by future salary
    Not allowed to advertise loans and loans against future wages or other short-term loans.
  • Loans
    In text ads should contain information about the loan interest, the title of the website or institution providing loans. Acceptable: Need a loan? The company CityBank will help You! Only 10% per annum. Unacceptable: Need a loan? Quickly, without prepayment and with assurance.
  • Management and asset management
    Such assets include:
    • securities, investment reserves of joint-stock investment funds, mutual investment funds, pension reserves of private pension funds, pension funds, mortgage coverage, savings for housing for military personnel.
    • Advertising management and asset management should include: the source of information subject to disclosure in accordance with the Constitutional law;
    • Information about the place or the address (phone number) where before the conclusion of the relevant contract stakeholders can review the terms asset-management, to obtain information about the person performing asset management, and other information that must be provided in accordance with the Constitutional law and other normative legal acts of the Republic of Estonia.
    Advertising management and asset management must not include:
    • documentary not confirmed information if it directly relates to the management of assets;
    • information on the results of asset management, including how to change them, or on the comparison of past and (or) at the moment, not based on calculations of profitability, defined in accordance with the regulatory legal acts of the Federal Executive authority in the field of financial markets, and in the cases established by Federal law - determined in accordance with normative legal acts of the Central Bank of the Republic of Estonia;
    • information on guarantees of reliability of possible investments and stability of the sizes of possible incomes or costs associated with these investments;
    • information on the possible benefits spajannyh with the methods of asset management and (or) other activities;
    • statements about the future performance results of asset management, similar to the results achieved.
  • The lure of money individuals for housing
    Advertising is not allowed, involvement of funds of physical persons for housing construction, except for advertising related to attraction of funds on the basis of the contract of participation in share construction, commercial housing and housing-construction cooperatives, advertising related to attraction and use of housing savings cooperatives of money from individuals for purchasing residential premises.
    Advertising related to attraction of money of participants of share building for building (creation) of apartment houses and (or) other objects of real estate, must contain information about the place and how to get the project Declaration stipulated by Constitutional law. Advertising related to attraction of money of participants of share building for building (creation) of apartment houses and (or) other property, is not allowed:
    • prior to the issuance in the established procedure permits for construction of apartment houses and (or) other object of real estate;
    • publication in mass media and (or) placement in information-telecommunication networks (including network "Internet") project Declaration, the state registration of ownership or lease rights to a land plot provided for construction (creation) of apartment houses and (or) other object of real estate, which will be the object of shared construction;
    • during the suspension in accordance with the Federal law of the activities of the developer related to the raising of funds participatory construction partners for construction (creation) of apartment houses and (or) other object of real estate.
    Advertising related to attraction and use of cooperative housing accumulation funds of individuals for the purchase of residential premises shall contain the following:
    • information on how to meet members of the housing co-operative savings incurred losses;
    • information on the inclusion of housing savings of the cooperative in the register of housing savings cooperatives;
    • the address of the site in a network "the Internet", which made the disclosure of cooperative housing accumulation.
    In advertising related to attraction and use of cooperative housing accumulation funds of individuals for purchase of residential premises is not allowed to guarantee the timing of the acquisition or construction of such a co-operative dwellings.

Social advertising

Social advertising - information spread by any means, in any form and using any means, addressed to an indefinite circle of persons and aimed at achieving charitable and other socially useful goals, as well as ensuring the interests of the state. Social is no mention of specific brands (models, articles) of goods, trademarks, service marks and other means of individualization of physical persons and legal entities, except for the cases stipulated by the legislation. In social advertising disseminated via the Internet, the duration of the mention of the sponsors shall be not more than five percent of the advertising area (space). These restrictions do not apply to references in social advertising of organs of state power, other state bodies, local government bodies, municipal bodies not included in the structure of local self-government bodies, socially-oriented non-profit organizations, and individuals who find themselves in difficult situations or in need of treatment in order to provide them charitable assistance.
  • Advertising tools, methods and services for weight loss
    In order to advertise in Traff OÜ tools, techniques and services for weight loss, you must: conclude with Traff OÜ contract from a legal entity and to make payments from the account of a legal entity. to have all the necessary permits (licenses, certificates). Licenses and certificates must be issued to a legal entity that has concluded with OÜ Traff contract.
  • Jewelry of precious metals and natural gemstones
    Before placing advertising to support those Traff OÜ must provide an electronic copy of the certificate on statement of the seller in a special account in the assay chamber.
  • Software
    In the ads it is not allowed to post links to sites containing malicious software (software), including software that is embedded in the system user carries out unauthorized access to information, unauthorized modification of data without the user's knowledge, can cause damage to equipment or other software. And, secretly embedded in another software or violate the intellectual property rights of third parties.
  • Services with a subscription
    The ads that offer services with a subscription, should clearly specify the need for a subscription (for example, "to access additional services subscription required."). Unacceptable: Only the best foreign hits (the above example is not valid, as it contains information that this is a trial offer and that in the future for this service you have to pay.)
  • Work from home/network marketing
    • Not allowed ads with offers quick money and profit with minimum investment.
    • Not allowed the ads about network marketing and similar schemes to conduct business without a description of the proposed product or capabilities that would provide the user with declared profit.
    • In ads there should be a clear description of the conditions of participation and the proposed product to the transparency of scheme business.

Additional requirements for advertising in social networks

(Odnoklassniki, MoiMir, Vkontakte, Facebook, Instagram)

Requirements for title and ad text

  • The title and the text ads are prepared in accurate language without mistakes, typos and abbreviations (except standard abbreviations). An exception may be words (phrases) in a foreign language, if these words (collocations) are common abbreviations (e.g., USB, ADSL), or trademarks / service marks (e.g., Danone, iPhone).
  • If a trademark (service mark) is not common in nature, to advertising support, you must provide a scanned copy of the certificate of registration of the trademark.
  • Advertisement can not be a continuation of the header.
  • For use in ad text, the name of the people, you must provide a certified scanned copy of permission from them.
  • The terms of use of words in the superlative degree: in order to be able to use in the ad text words in the superlative degree ("best", "most", "number one", "the only effective", etc.), the user must send the moderators a document drawn up by a reputable third party organization confirming the declared properties of the product or service. Also, this document should be published on the advertised website

Requirements to the picture in the ad

It is prohibited to use images:
  • simulating corporate style/logo sites , interface elements irritate the eyes provocative and sexually explicit (like porn is);
  • protected by copyright (without permission) flags, emblems, awards, symbols and signs of municipal formations, religious symbols, photographs, or images of public people — famous musicians, writers, athletes, leading, etc. without their personal written permission;
  • content that may offend cultural or religious sensibilities.

Requirements for the URL in the ad

  • The link should be pointing to its own landing page of the advertiser (the advertised site). Redirects (redirect) to other pages, including meta-redirects and trafficbug prohibited.
  • The link should not lead: on a third-party social network (except for My World and Odnoklassniki);
  • in a closed community/group; e-mail address or file (including image, audio or video recordings and documents that can only be run with additional applications)
  • If the link is to a website written in a language different from the language in which composed of ad, in-text ads necessary information about it.

Facebook and Instagram

For advertising in Facebook requires access to the advertiser's page, for which to advertise.
